Does The Out of Office Assistant Only Reply Once?
The Out of Office Assistant sends an automatic reply to notify users who send you messages that you are away from the office. Your reply is only sent once to a message sender. This is reset when you toggle the Out of Office Assistant off and on.
Out of Office notices only send the automatic reply once to each person who sends you email messages during the time the Out of Office Assistant is active. This is by design and cannot be changed or circumvented. The Out of Office Assistant keeps a list of which senders it has emailed with your preconfigured message to prevent sending the same message more than once. When an Out of Office message reaches the “End Date” or is manually disabled, the list is cleared and is started again the next time you enable the Out of Office Assistant.
