What Is The Size Limit For Sending An Email?
While the size limit for an email is set at 25MB, the more practical limit to use is 10MB.
Restrictions on how large an email can be are set multiple ways by multiple parties involved. This is the reason that you might be able to send a 15MB email to one recipient at one company and have the same email rejected by another recipient at another company.
As a general rule, the more common size limit on an email being sent and received is 10MB. If you encounter an issue sending an email that is larger, try breaking up the attachment(s) into two or more emails, each no larger than 10MB. If you still encounter issues sending larger emails, contact the IT Department.
