User Account Lock Out Policy

The following is taken directly from the Shanahan's IT Service Level Agreement which can be found here: Q:\Graphics, Templates & Forms\General (All Shanahan's)\IT - Service Level Agreement


If, within five minutes, five attempts to log on to any system or service with the wrong password has been made with your username, your account will be automatically locked for fifteen minutes. Once the fifteen minute period has lapsed, your account will be automatically unlocked. If you have accidentally locked your account, please contact the IT Department to manually unlock it for you. This can occur when you attempt to logon to a computer, access email via mobile device or web service, or connecting remotely using a VPN client or RDP connection with the incorrect password.
